The four star Rosendal Winery & Wellness Retreat is situated on its own farm. The farm was established back in 1805 with its first brandy cellar.

It is 20 minutes away from towns, such as Montagu, McGregor and Robertson - and less than two hours drive from Cape Town.

The Retreat nestles in the tranquil Upper Klaas Vogds Valley. The oldest building dates back to the early 1800 hundreds and has been totally restored. The legendary elegance and traditions of the 18th century are complimented by the conveniences and elegance of today.

Today Rosendal produce three ranges of wine for sale exclusive to selected customers in South Africa, United Kingdom and Scandinavia. . Our wine makers works closely together with Geir to make the distinctive wines of Rosendal. Our wines can be tasted and bought at the farm.

The view over our pond against the backdrop of the mountains provides the setting for Rosendal’s Restaurant. Colonial style décor incorporates all the historical architectural features of the old winery.

At Rosendal Spa and Wellness Center our qualified therapists offer traditional treatments using products made from wine grapes, enriched with antioxidants.

Resveratrol is an antioxidant found in grape skips, seeds and vines, thus red wine. It has been discovered that Resveratrol is an effective means of slowing the rate of aging!
