"Who said that you cannot produce red wine in the Robertson area?' were the words of Mr. Bennie Howard, master of ceremony at the Veritas Gala event when Roodezandt's 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon was crowned with a gold medal. These words were repeated in 1999 at the Veritas Gala event, when Roodezandt's 1998 Balthazar Cabernet Sauvignon was crowned with a Gold medal.
"Wie het gese 'n mens kan nie Rooiwyn in die Robertson Area maak nie", was die woorde van mnr. Bennie Howard, seremoniemeester van die Veritas Gala geleentheid, toe Roodezandt se 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon met 'n goue Veritas medaljie bekroon is. Hierdie woorde word in 1999 tydens die Veritas toekennings herhaal toe die 1998 Balthazar Cabernet Sauvignon 'n Goue Veritas ontvang.
Roodezandt Quality Awards 2004 For the last couple of years Roodezandt Wines and Vineyards encouraged their members to produce better quality grapes by rewarding them with a "Certificate of Merit for their grapes delivered to our cellar".
The decision was taken to reward members for "Market related quality delivered, as well as rewards won" by these grapes delivered.
